Reiki is a totally safe and natural form of healing.

It can not only heal diseases but corrects imbalances within Mind Body & Spirit and compliments other western medicine and alternative therapies.

Reiki is an ancient healing therapy which is believed to have originated from
the experiences of
Dr Mikao Usui a Japanese monk.

Reiki can be used for healing on many levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

The Reiki energy accelerates the body’s natural healing ability and can offer insights into the cause of the problem.  It can mean a deep state of relaxation and feeling of nurturing and peace where buried emotions and experiences can be released by a treatment to help the healing process.

Reiki meditations and exercises can uncover emotional issues that may need to be addressed.

It must be stressed that Reiki is not to be taken as a substitute for professional counselling.

Dr Usui is known to have described Reiki as a “Method to Achieve Personal Perfection”

He saw Reiki as a way of achieving spiritual enlightenment, without the need to follow a particular religion.  The healing benefits being a beneficial side-effect.

Further, how you deal with situations may change because of your new
self-awareness and the choosing of your own behaviour.

Reiki is a complimentary therapy and is not intended to replace
conventional medicine.

The method of receiving a Reiki treatment from a practitioner is simple. The recipient remains clothed and lies on a couch or sits on a chair and relaxes.

The practitioner gently places their hands non-intrusively, on or near the body. There is no massage or manipulation and the whole person is treated rather than specific symptoms.  It is also possible to receive Reiki at a distance.

Reiki practitioners are not trained in diagnosis and will not offer any diagnosis or prognosis.

If people are concerned about their symptoms they should see a doctor.  You may or not feel sensations during a treatment and most people feel relaxed
and at peace afterwards.

The following five principles will assist you to appreciate Reiki and
the ancient secret method for gaining happiness.

These should be spoken daily, once in the morning
and once in the evening:-

Working with these principles does not mean that you will suddenly
be transformed into a model of serenity or productivity, nor should you put up with mistreatment from others or never get angry again.

However, if every day you can be mindful of these you will gradually notice differences in your everyday life, mainly within yourself.

Further, how you deal with situations may change because
of your new self-awareness and the choosing of your own behaviour.
